29 years ago when I first arrived here, we planted some trees in an area that was nothing but rough grass, nettles and brambles. It is now a woodland. Over the last few years I’ve been planting snowdrops there and they’re now starting to carpet the ground. 🤗

@SketchesbyBoze @suzania Have you read The Giant Under the Snow by John Gordon? Wonderful, magical book. I first encountered it around the same time as the Dark is Rising books and it almost seems part of that world for me.

@suzania I only read The Dark Is Rising last year and they felt like the books for which I had been searching my whole life. I wish I had read them during my formative years!

@tv_unidentified Can you please help me find a kids tv programme from the late 70s/early 80s? A group of kids were evacuated during WW2. They put on a show and made scarecrows as an audience. They came to life, which for some weird reason the children didn't find terrifying.
