@LeviFetterman No different than opting in on a Fetterman list. He’s a voice in the next election…it does not hurt to listen. A mailing list is not a forced contribution. And, I love you guys, but isn’t it a little bit much for a pup’s Twitter account to call someone else performative?

@BethM2S not him, but what he is politicking bc it is a waste + performative + he knows it + there r so many real competitive elections right now that we have to win + ppl have limited resources + a mailing list is eventually asking for money + we will never amend the constitution

look if a governor who is not running for president or other (this time) asks u to “sign up” on his website bc he is proposing a 28th amendment to constitution about gun safety…
he is just building his mailing list for later
there isnt going to be this amendment

Hmmm…I think people saying she’s “not wearing the gloves the right way” are missing the point. The point is not historical exactitude of a largely forgotten accessories language. The point is a vague historicity and alluding to better times. She *is* cosplaying. That’s the idea.

Gen Z is amazing. I asked a (paid) intern to bring me 50 blank pieces of copier paper and when she brought them in they were warm. Turns out that, rather than count them, she set the copier to 50 and printed blank sheets. Genius.
