@BiBetty3

I am neither left nor right or anything in between. I am just me! I listen to all sides and I agree/disagree fully with none.

@BiBetty3 @PCockfield2118 @Heccles94 To repeat, many disabled are able to work eg could clean public toilets or lift gutter trash, but remain on welfare handouts. That’s where £billions can be cut from the welfare budget by strict eligibility to qualify and if able to work move to job seekers allowance

@Crofter1798 @PCockfield2118 @Heccles94 Absolutely! However, It is not for the general public to decide who is and who is not disabled, though many seem to think it is. Of course those who can work should work, but that does not justify the current judgement, abuse and suspicion aimed at disabled people who's.../1

@Crofter1798 @PCockfield2118 @Heccles94 Many? I'm sure there are disabled people who could work. In fact there are a lot of disabled people who want to work, but the support that enables them to get into the workplace has been eroded. The Access To Work scheme being one example.

@PCockfield2118 @Crofter1798 @Heccles94 You only feel that I am wasting your time because I simply don't agree with you. As I said, you do you. We don't agree... and that's ok! Have a good day.

@PCockfield2118 @Crofter1798 @Heccles94 You're missing the point... or completely ignoring the point. In your pursuit of 'lazy bastards' you are also (perhaps unintentionally) tarring genuinely disabled people with the same brush.... But hey, you do you! I prefer not to be a judgemental person, but that's me 🤷‍♀️

We want children growing up in our country healthy and happy. With Best Start free breakfast clubs, half a million more children to receive free school meals and new updates to the quality of school food, Labour is setting children up to achieve and thrive.

No one is talking about the fact that Social Services are under a huge amount of pressure. They have massive workloads and not enough social workers. SS get's a lot of bad press, and sometimes rightly so, but I have seen how stretched they are and that's Gov failure. #GMB

@DarrylMcGarvey @bphillipsonMP I agree! I'm not arguing your point. It just seems that many people in the comments on this post seem to think that breakfast clubs are only for people on benefits when they are actually for everyone.

@BiBetty3 @bphillipsonMP They shoudn't be. Most parents give their kids a nutritious breakfast at home. This was solving a problem that largely didn't exist. Support should be specifically targetted to those in genuine need.

This morning, 500 more Best Start free breakfast clubs are opening their doors, making nutritious meals available to over 140,000 children & savings of £450 available to their parents. We’re stepping in to make families’ mornings that bit easier, because Labour is on your side.

@Crofter1798 @PCockfield2118 @Heccles94 How would having Motability plastered across car doors make it easier for people to identify who is and who is not disabled when most people don't know what ALL disabilities look like? All it will do is embolden morons to abuse disabled people they don't understand!

@PCockfield2118 @BiBetty3 @Heccles94 Yes they estimate reasonable number of disabled who have never worked are able to work eg cleaning public toilets, lifting trash, but won’t work & Gov panders to this. Another good reason why motabilty should bd written on the two front doors of all the cars

@PCockfield2118 @Crofter1798 @Heccles94 You don't seem to realise that while you make comments like this supposedly aimed at 'lazy' people, you also provoke judgement, suspicion, and abuse of people who are genuinely disabled... but I'm starting to see that you really don't give a fuck about them anyway!

@PCockfield2118 @Crofter1798 @Heccles94 You are commenting on a post that is specifically about disabled people. I KNOW you are talking about 'lazy fucks', but I am pointing out that people who are in GENUINE need are ALSO being tarred with the 'lazy fucks' brush.

@IcePoolC @bphillipsonMP Totally agree! I have lost count of the amount of times she has posted about this. She's not so keen to post about about their SEND reforms which will very likely overburden already struggling schools, and strip away legal rights from children with special educational needs.

@DarrylMcGarvey @bphillipsonMP Breakfast clubs are not only for those who are on benefits. They are for all children, including children from households that claim no benefits at all.

@bphillipsonMP Surely lifting the 2 child benefit cap would make this unnecessary? Weren't you saying the benefit cap would lift kids out of poverty?

@bphillipsonMP Hey Bridget! Children with special educational needs and their families really want to keep their legal rights. Not only would that make our mornings a bit easier, but it would make our daily lives easier. Be on our side! Don't take away those rights!

@PCockfield2118 @Crofter1798 @Heccles94 Ok! That's great for your wife. However, we've gone full circle back to the fact that not all disabled people are the same for a vast amount of reasons. Some disabled people will be able to work, others will not. It's not as simple as 'one can do it so everyone else can too'.

I don't know... I could be wrong Frank, but I'm pretty sure that women don't create children all by themselves. I swear I heard that men played a part in the creation of a child. 😂😂😂😂 #JeremyVine

It's bad enough having to deal with all the fiddly anti theft things they have put on certain items. I remember having to put those little stickers on every item over a fiver when I worked in Asda, some items we had to put them inside of the packaging. It took ages! #JeremyVine

@PCockfield2118 @Crofter1798 @Heccles94 I agree with you! Unemployed people who are capable of work should be working. There's not many who disagree with that point. The judgement, suspicion, abuse and accusations towards those who genuinely cannot work for whatever reason is what I have an issue with.

@Crofter1798 @PCockfield2118 @Heccles94 It won't! That will not happen while there is a lack of understanding around disabilities. Motability cars are identifiable now, yet people still judge, accuse, and abuse the users of those cars purely because they know noting about the users disability.
