After I watched PJ Tucker play textbook defense on Kevin Durant for 7 straight games and it didn’t matter, I abandoned the idea that there’s a such thing as guarding the best offensive players in the league. When they get in that mode, there’s nothing you can do.

There was no avenue to acquire James Harden via a trade at any point in time this season, but the problem is that we shouldn’t have to trade for him. We should’ve just signed him in 2023.

Rockets didn’t make any moves because they fell for unsustainable offensive analytics that came back to bite them without Fred and Adams. Stone put together a roster of 8 one-way players, and in a presser said we were a top 5 offense when we were dropping in every metric daily.
