Toronto Police Officer Charged After Alleged Unauthorized Database Access A Toronto Police Constable has been arrested and charged following an internal investigation into alleged unauthorized access of police databases. According to police, it is alleged that the officer unlawfully accessed private police records on multiple occasions between June and December 2025. Constable Rifat Hassan, 33, has been arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a computer. The investigation was conducted by the Toronto Police Service, which has not released additional details about the nature of the information accessed. The officer is from 53 Division and has approximately 10 months of service. The process for suspension without pay has commenced as per the requirements of the Community Safety and Policing Act of Ontario.

If Ontario was a country, it would have about the 20th largest economy in the world.
It's comparable to Switzerland, Poland, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia. Really.
Private jets offer quick transit without fixed times. They are more expensive, but if you're crisscrossing the country and the United States trying to expand the economy, they make sense.
Buying a private jet was poor optics, but it was also always good business.
