This is major news. Doug Ford promised “faster, more frequent” GO trains. Now leaked documents say that plan is “unlikely to materialize” after his government scrapped the deal to deliver it — and won’t tell Ontarians why or how much cancelling it cost. Worse, we’re now paying for trains and upgrades Metrolinx doesn’t even need — contracts signed at the government’s request for a plan that’s been abandoned. That’s exactly why MPP @AndreaHazelll called for a value-for-money audit last year: to find out how much this mismanagement is costing taxpayers. These failures have real consequences: more time waiting, less room on trains, fewer departure options — and ultimately less time with your family. At this point, @fordnation might not be able to get a toy train set up and running. We must demand accountability. #onpoli
