@talonsniper@adamtotscomix Removing your account from Bitclout does not remove it from the underlying DeSo blockchain. Therefore, we say "hide." This account may show up on other nodes, such as bitcloutsignal or prosperclout. They may decide to follow Bitclout or make their own moderation decisions.
@bdm_runner@elanmiller Hi, you can cash out by sending your DESO to an exchange that supports DESO, like Blockchain.com. Reach out to us if you need any help.
@rem_nguyen360@EmiMelker@oarturrocha@scottmelker@nadertheory The impersonating account "scott_melker" has been hidden from Bitclout.com. Thank you for reporting. And also, yes, we cannot actually remove accounts. Misspoke and said remove, but meant hide, as we can only hide them from the main node.
@LuxInABottle@PsittaciI@Wizzl11 BitClout is a cool idea! Unfortunately right now the UI is super centralized. The BitClout founders could just as easily halt your access as Jack could with Twitter.
It is definitely heading in the right direction though 🙂
#Arweave pioneered data permanence. For the first time in hunan history , records can be saved forever. As a result, new industries around $AR data permanence will likely be born. Which potential value prop excites you the most?
@kellymooreart Hey there, this profile has now been hidden on bitclout.com. Very sorry about that, but please know we take impersonation very seriously.
If you’d like to claim your handle DM us and we’ll work to get it for you.
@AucCapital Hi, you can use an exchange that supports Bitclout like Blockchain.com. You can also email us at node.admin@bitclout.com for more assistance if you need.
@RyansWriting@CryptoGravity_@Tim_Denning Hey Ryan, not sure what happened here but we don't block users like that. Can you DM us details on what's going on so maybe we can help?
@CryptoGravity_@Tim_Denning Will give it a try 👍.
I'd like to get involved with the platform as I've been hearing some good things.
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated 😁
