BREAKING: Cisco, $CSCO, is planning to cut "thousands of employees" in a massive corporate restructuring, according to Reuters. The company is looking to focus on high-growth areas in its restructuring initiatives. An announcement could come next week as the company prepares for its earnings call on February 14th. In November 2022, Cisco announced a restructuring that impacted 5% of its workforce and lead to $600 million in severance and other charges. Tech giants are still cost cutting.

Meanwhile, New York's residential real estate market is now worth $3.7 trillion, up just ~24% since 2020. Since June 2022, prices in Florida are up ~5% while they have declined -3.3% in California and -0.3% in New York. Is Florida the new hotspot?

US crude oil production just soared to a new record high of 13.2 million barrels per day. To put this in perspective, the US was producing 12 million barrels per day at the start of 2023. That's a 10% increase in production year-to-date alone. We are finally seeing higher production levels than the previous high of 13.1 million barrels per day pre-pandemic. Is more US production the solution to the current energy situation?

JUST IN: Crude oil prices officially rise above $90 for the first time since November 2022. Oil prices are now up a massive 35% in just 3 months. We are now an incredible 29% above the levels that the US was targeting to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserves (SPR). Meanwhile, there are less than 46 days of supply left in US reserves. The classic sell high, buy higher is coming for US reserves. Will we see $100+ oil prices again?
