@Wynnejoel1 @WillarShoko Smaller satellites are designed to burn on re-entry into the earths atmosphere. Bigger satellites & space debris has been known to fall on farms and houses but it’s rare. I’m sure you’ve seen this in movies this burning is why we don’t get hit by meteors all the time.

@AmaniKweli @cobbo3 We are clowns because in China there are measures to limit residential properties going too high for locals to afford and priority is given to citizens. But here we are doing the exact opposite. In the end cash will be worth nothing because $600k+ is madness.

@cobbo3 The chinese have priced us out of the property market. Properties that were $200k 3years ago are now $600k!! When you are smuggling Minerals those numbers are nothing.

For China’s rich, the new must-have is a luxury home in Zimbabwe. Chinese buyers are finding bargain mansions — and a discreet place to move money — in Harare, a city shaped by colonialism and cricket. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@Carling_Mups @eng_lui_tme Maya they are very gud engineers bt problem starts frm the tender process. If u win wth the lowest bid, your profit is in the workmanship. Had a discussion with an employee weMasimba Construction. Some of the payments are done in Zig. So much happens and the product suffers.

It’s kind of insane that we’re all lucky enough to live on this insignificant blue ball floating in an endless void that can somehow keep us alive indefinitely and yet a huge chunk of people want to ruin it forever in the name of an economic concept that we made up ourselves

@kvarinius @whozae @mikesulsenti Core LTT audiences aren’t about this nonsense. Now more than ever is time to retain core staff, core audiences and regular customers. Larger businesses are tanking for less asinine things.

1. There’s no power cut whatsoever! Public transport is so reliable and timed you can literally plan . 2. There’s absolutely no bank charges , not for tapping , not for transferring money , no monthly charges on an ordinary account even . 3. People actually see the road signs and follow them , people give each other way when driving. 4. If you dial 999 , the next minute you’re connected to whoever you want — Ambulance, fire or police. 24/7 5. People do give away stuff they no longer need for free sometimes. 6. There is a functional social service to support the vulnerable in communities. The list is long but this stood out for me ..

@BloggoJones @M_gh_nyc @IvanJaros @CrazyVibes_1 He has no idea what he's talking about. He's comparing online purchases with in-store. In EU, if you order online, the shop has the right to cancel the order for wrong price (before shipping it). But they have no right to request you return it once they shipped it tho.

At a Walmart store in Mexico, a customer found a 70-inch TV priced at 547 Mexican pesos (approximately $30). The customer bought it, and when he tried to leave with him, it turned out that the price was mismarked and the employees prevented him from leaving. The incident ended in a fight, the arrival of the police and the arrest of the customer. It seems to me that in this case the customer was right and should have been compensated by the store.
