Unconventional...Maybe... But as small talk, discussing health indicators can be a rational & meaningful way to connect especially for those it directly affects... For eg: asking about uric acid or creatinine can be meaningful small talk in the right context especially for someone dealing with CKD...

"Farhan Akhtar backed Manipuri Film Boong wins BAFTA award".... A common pattern in the coverage of independent or regional films with big name producers is that the credit often gets HIJACKED by the more famous name, even if unintentionally... This can shift the focus away from the director or writer especially when the film represents regional voices that deserve to be recognized on their own merit...

Guess what? This one is from today in Nagaland. Kuki with Angami. Over the past few weeks, the truth has been coming out through actions, not through narratives or paid-media reporting. Since December 2025: Kuki vs Liangmai going on. January 11: Kuki vs Inpui at Ireng Village February 8–9: Kuki vs Tangkhul at Litan Village February 13: Kuki vs Angami The pattern is hard to ignore. What is the problem with the Kuki? They seem to end up in conflict everywhere they go.

@LongjamVivek What looks like state neglect is really a smart stalemate strategy(Control)... keep everyone stuck, no one wins, endless chaos...or a controlled gridlock where no player can win!!! The reset button or decisive action is ultimately controlled by the so called invisible hand...

We’re watching the “invisible hand” at work. The same old playbook from 3rd May, 2023. Don’t protect civilians or property. Just shift the people. Then create a “buffer zone” and call it peace. And new IDP are born within the state.
Shining Forth_Manipur@KingOfFreeSoul

Deja Vu of 3rdMay'23 design plot (not failure) is mirrored @ Litan Village today: -Violence Erupts. -Shift Locals (Instead of Guarding). -Burning of Houses. -New Naga IDPs are born within the State. -Internet Shutdown to suppress the TRUTH from the world outside Manipur. @NewsX @Reuters @aajtak @ANI @CNN @BBC @nytimes @timesofindia @IndianExpress @UNSC_Reports @UN_HRC

True...Without mutually agreed administrative demarcation (eg. clear sub district boundaries, joint councils or neutral adjudication of claims), the deal risks being seen as favoring one side, reigniting Naga Kuki friction... if autonomy empowers Kuki majority areas, Nagas may see it as encroaching on their claims or vice versa...

@BoldVeracity666 The big issue is the overlapping areas between the Nagas and Kukis. That's another bloodbath waiting to happen. But if this is inevitable, we need to push the administration to demarcate the districts based on administrative convenience first.

So this is what the so called “Kuki Zo negotiated political solution” meant... as conveyed by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh in his message to Nemcha Kipgen... This article from The Indian Express reports that the Central govt is in the final stages of negotiating a peace deal with Kuki Zo groups in Manipur... Key points: 1) the proposed deal is modeled on the recent Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA) pact signed with the Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organisation (ENPO), which grants a degree of autonomy to six Nagaland districts... 2) the deal aims to provide greater autonomy, financial authority & administrative power to the hill districts...means self governance within the state assembly framework...

As a new govt takes shape in #Manipur, the Centre is at an advanced stage of a peace deal with Kuki-Zomi-Hmar militant groups. The deal could be on the lines of Eastern Nagaland pact with setting up of autonomous councils for self administration. I report indianexpress.com/article/politi…

@diana_warep They don’t give a damn because the arrangement suits them & govts of every stripe(irrespective of parties)are complicit in allowing it.... This in many ways, explains why the state created so many state forces...

This proves the power of Kuki SoO groups is much more than those thousands of Army and CAPF deployed in Manipur. Army and CAPF behaved like a hero in Pakistan India border, Naxal and Moaists area, then what made them so powerless in INDIA- MYANMAR border? The answer is an open secret. There was also a clear evidence of Myanmar based actor Paudre Gangte who took part in Tuibong, Churachandpur violent protest after govt formation (as shown in the visual below) So then how is AR shielding the border? Honourable, HM @KonthoujamG as law and order is a state subject, please give power to @manipur_police; central forces and personnel should be there to assist the state police only. Law and order should not be confined to certain areas of the valley but across Manipur for a peaceful and harmonious Manipur.

Khuraijam Athouba@Paari_Athouba

If just 20 cadres of the KNF-German could control the violence in Churachandpur within minutes, an incident that made national headlines, why couldn’t the Army and CAPF, deployed in the hundreds, do the same throughout the entire night? Isn’t that ironic? This is the question that should be debated and reported as the headline by the same national media.

@diana_warep These tactics are also evident in how VBIG is being handled, with Manipur forces deliberately kept at arm’s length.... As a result, militant neutralisations by the Indian Army (once common during the 90s) are now rare....
