I don’t understand the appeal of Halloween. Never liked it even as a kid. People seem to enjoy the costume thing a lot but it always feels onerous to me; I don’t “get to” wear a costume, I “have to” wear one. No thanks! Extra steps & requirements to hang out? Awful.
