Simple fact: on a correctly set up display, the Kino version looks better cos they have done full-fat dolby and not cheaped out on using the streaming version like Arrow seems to do. I'm going to check some other discs, but it looks like Arrow is not giving its customers the best version.

Sorry, guys. Don't waste your time with @ArrowFilmsVideo's version of #SilenceoftheLambs. It's a basic DOLBY VISION version with only a MEL layer, only 10 bits, with no enhancement layer. Whereas the @KinoLorber version is a full 12-bit FEL DOLBYVISION version with a FULL Enhancement layer, giving a far superior picture. Both are derived from the same 12-bit master supervised by the wonderful Tak Fujimoto, a former @lfsorguk graduate.
