Terry, no one — and I mean no one — is getting £60k a year in benefits. The DWP has no evidence of this, and even cases approaching £30k are exceptionally rare and usually involve people who are terminally ill or profoundly disabled.
What you are doing is manufacturing fiction about the sick and disabled, then presenting it as fact in order to provoke anger and resentment against vulnerable people.
That is the definition of #hatespeech: creating a false narrative to dehumanise a minority group for political outrage and public hostility.

Notice it's never - should we tax land value annually as they do everywhere else in the western capitalist world . Should we clamp down on trusts to stop tax dodging . Or 'Lord Bamford owes the tax man £500 Million should we make the money grubbing worm pay what he owes. Hardly any one gets £60,000 in benefits :-) unless they're severely disabled and need around the clock care

Why is M&S such poor value? Because Marks & Spencer aren’t competing with Tesco on value. They’re not competing with anyone on anything. That would require a coherent strategy.
At this point the meal deal feels less like retail and more like a sociology experiment in how much disappointment can be packaged next to an overpriced wrap. @marksandspencer @Tesco

People who are self employed and on lower incomes have been fined and relentlessly pursued by HMRC for the tiniest of mistakes - often when they can’t afford to get professional advice
The fact that haven’t fined our deputy PM is utterly unacceptable

The housing secretary says he, like the PM, is getting on with the job & then boasts hes reforming right to buy Tweaks not change. They shouldn't be reforming RTB, they should be scrapping it. Along with introducing rent controls & a massive program of council house building
