At @BRCADIRECT participants submitted a sample for #GeneticTesting by simply providing a saliva sample at home and posting it to our lab. Our diagnostic laboratory then analysed the sample for gene faults in #BRCA1, #BRCA2, and #PALB2

True or False?: "Only women can carry BRCA gene faults..." False! Men can also carry #BRCA gene faults, associated with increased risk of prostate, pancreatic, and male #breastcancer. Identifying families with gene faults can benefit all family members.
