The BRCA-DIRECT study aimed to provide an easy way for patients with #BreastCancer to access #GeneticTesting within @NHSEngland. Our final participant has now completed the study ! A total of 1140 women have been offered genetic testing through @BrcaDirect . #BRCA1 #BRCA2

At @BRCADIRECT participants submitted a sample for #GeneticTesting by simply providing a saliva sample at home and posting it to our lab. Our diagnostic laboratory then analysed the sample for gene faults in #BRCA1, #BRCA2, and #PALB2
