I am very lucky because my wife is not only amazing, she is also very talented. So she helped design our Eastcastle street store. A black wall she said, a copper counter, a neon logo, matt white lights. Attention to detail and an aesthetic that will last for years and years.

@kaffeinelondon It’s a great look. I’ve had the conversation with @tiborbarista many times about the long term value of timeless, quality initial design. It may cost a bit more to begin with but if you have design that is still working 15, or even 25 years later, it’s money very well spent.

Had fifth century today (all in 2022). Used set-up along these lines. Got to 101 but then miscued pink trying to get up for yellow. 134 on but I still get too giddy (clenched fist) at three figures so focus goes. #snooker

@MattCooperGolf The second one - that still sits beside my desk - is a crumbled (but very famous) picture of those hands on the Ping. It was the lightness of touch that amazed me and I always tried to copy.

It also had my favourite photo of Seve - that time the CIA's entire worldwide network of covert operators held their annual get together at the Open and followed the great man. At least three of these men were in Dealey Plaza.

Absolutely terrific little exhibition of Seve photos at the @WorldGolfMuseum. How good is this one? The new layout in the museum is looking great. The great Gloria Minoprio's trousers still there. The first trousers worn by a woman golfer.

@MattCooperGolf Sits beside my desk - Seve winning the Irish Open in 1983 when I was 15. My two mates and I just followed him spellbound for the whole two days we were there. Magical. And essentially the genesis of Dream On. Signed by the photographer and a gift from my wife.
