Red car gets fully airborne yet somehow the driver saves it and avoids hitting the wall barriers. Probably needed new underwear though.

@JackPosobiec @Brick_Suit “I don’t see why we can’t have a reasonable pause on that SAVE Act so women can still vote.” “Yep, we got ahead of all that. Wife changed her name back to before. Protest. I support.” “Yup, good husband.” “Yep. What’s she doin’ this weekend?” “Seein’ her boyfriend.”

I watched Taylor Sheridan's new series “The Madison” I thought it was fantastic for the most part This review covers what I liked and didn’t like through the first three episodes. The first 20 minutes, with Kurt Russell and Matthew Fox fly fishing was outstanding. It was calm, well-scened, and immediately pulled you into the world However, if you watched the trailers, you probably had a good idea of what was coming. I won’t get into spoilers, but I do think the way the show transitions into the main storyline could have been handled much better. The portrayal of New York City felt accurate. For example, a young woman gets mugged and no one around her seems to care at all. She brings authority and realism to the role She is absolutely correct that it’s rude to you, everyone at the table, and even the people around you at the restaurant when you’re on your phone the entire time. Then when the family gets to Montana and starts complaining, Pfeiffer steps in and says, “Did you forget why we’re even here?” She calls them out and doesn’t let them make the situation all about themselves. Later, neighbors bring food to welcome the family, and the kids respond with woke nonsense. Pfeiffer doesn’t let it slide, she goes right at them and calls out the parents for how they raised their kids. She takes a few jabs at the pronouns too. We do get some flashbacks of both Russell and Pfeiffer together, which is nice. 3 quick things: 1. Sheridan captures human nature very well 2. He presented a very reasonable story of how rich city folks would react when visiting the country when they would never visit a place like Montana 3. The cinematography in this is stunning and it looks so beautiful That said, there are some issues 1. The story presents that Russell and Pfeiffer were very much in love with one another but she never visited Montana even though it seems like Russell was in Montana every weekend. That feels a bit hard to believe. 2. There are some inconsistencies. Early on, it seems like Russell’s character isn’t experienced with fishing, but later it’s implied he loves it and has spent a lot of time there. Then Fox character just has a small cabin with no plumbing but later, when the family visits the cabin, it suddenly shows several cabins, which makes the earlier scene feel inconsistent. 3. Why wasn’t Matthew Fox's character in more flashbacks? There isn’t as much profanity in this compared to other shows but it is still there. I want to point this out because it was a very important dialogue where Russell and Fox characters are talking and Russell says no wife, girlfriend, or even a dog? And Fox basically says I wouldn’t careless, I love this life and I make a memory a day. You know folks there are a lot of people like that in real life. Overall, the first three episodes are strong, mostly because they feel fresh and different. My only real concern is pacing, when Michelle Pfeiffer isn’t on screen, the show tends to slow down a bit.

This is the real problem with the current algo as I see it. People on the platform pre selected the content they wanted the most by following the accounts they were interested in. But those preferences are now ignored. Nobody joined X to be fed content by an algo. Sad.

@atensnut It really is. I get that they want to show us new stuff and I'm not opposed to that, but the balance is off. Ideally I think I'd like 90% people I follow and 10% algo suggestions. Maybe if we had an adjustable setting that would be cool.
