The characters and their story are why we love the games. Without Chris & Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, or Leon Kennedy and Wesker... Resident Evil just becomes another Zombie flick.

Seeing a lot of discussion about this, Gaming is an interactive medium. When you remove the interaction part, you are missing out on a critical part of the experience.
It's OK to enjoy stories by watching vids but I really think you need to play to appreciate games fully imo.

2. I dont mind the tank controls. It's the fixed camera (which isnt always terrible but it does get very annoying when shooting an enemy on the other side of the room), and those annoying door opening loading screens is what I hate about the OGs
