@PaulRBerg @econoar @VitalikButerin We do a few hundred transactions per day on @gitcoin and gas issues are by far our number one support request. The pain is real. I seriously can’t wait for some innovation to get into mainnet on this.

I'm late to the EIP-1559 party, but this a neat proposal by @econoar, @VitalikButerin et al. It changes the first price auction model to a floating mechanism w/ a base fee and optional tips. This base fee is burned, putting deflationary pressure on ETH🔥 eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-1559

First up, is a new polling mechanism @BurnSignal, which plans to change how discussions take place on #Ethereum.

I'm not a fan of ProgPoW due to it's contentious nature. That said, the stance below poses a very dangerous precedent. Never in the history of #Ethereum did a client dev team unilaterally block a feature. #Ethereum's future relies on devs working in unison.
