My uncle's wife once called me to rant that she only wants to let me know that she would no longer cook in that house for my uncle, her husband to eat. Make una lemme nah, which day I turn marriage counselor??😃 She continued That ever since this lady , whose husband was once my uncle's apprentice visited them with her family, my uncle has changed. That he used to drop 40 to 50k for the soups they make as they already have meats in the freezer. But she still needs to buy other things. But that day, he dropped her only 15k and when she confronted him, he simply told her, he noticed that the wife of his apprentice who visited them a week before, didn't even use up to that amount to cook for them to eat and that the lady even made two different soups. I held my breath and couldn't look up as I needed to control myself from choking from laughter. Like ma, how do you want me to come into this?? Make I go confront my papa senior brother and ask him why he's not giving you 50k to cook soup . You no like as I dey here with you???🥲 But I dared not say it out for her to hear as she go too manhandle me.😭 I could see in her eyes that for her to angrily be venting to me, she's not there to play. She continued by saying, he'll come back and meet the money where he dropped it , starve or go back to call his apprentice's wife to continue cooking for him. Few minutes later, my uncle casually walked in with toothpick in his mouth. He ensured he made it known to everyone, especially his wife that he had gone to have a good meal by picking his teeth very loudly. As if making this woman's boiling in anger was not enough,he called me to go to his car and bring out the pepper soup in the flask he kept there . This man instructed me to be careful while carrying it as it's been long since he had a well prepared meal by a properly raised woman. Haba uncle why nau?? Never seen a more petty person in my life.🤣 I know he intentionally said it aloud so that his wife would get more mad. When she could no longer contain her anger, she got up and went into her room and banged the door. This man no even send her. He simply continued picking his teeth. This man has the money so I wonder why he didn't just give it to her. Do you think my uncle did right by comparing his wife to someone else or does money actually suddenly make men change and become insensitive to the needs of their partners??

I just got off on phone on an hour call with my friend who relocated to the UK with her family. She tells me no that her 14 year old daughter no longer listen to her. She speaks to her rudely and refuses to help with chores.🥺 She has once called social worker /police on her father hence the Father is withdrawn from her matter after that incident. My friend is almost crying on the phone. She said she is exhausted and doesn't know what to do. Please what can she do to redeem this situation?
