Introducing our remarkable judge Dean Coady QPM, OBE, SMRC. I had the pleasure of meeting Dean at the Lancs Police and Crime conference back in 2018. Hailing from Salford, Dean was raised in an environment plagued by crime and violence. Despite this, Dean emerged as a formidable figure, spending a decade as a Parachute Regiment Soldier before dedicating 26 years to serving on the frontline of policing.
