@funtimesnow2025 @autocar Dealers are popping up all over. And with people being taxed and squeezed on cost of living is it any wonder people are buying Chinese EV’s when they are half the price of European cars? Wait until they hit the used market for half the money again with three years warranty left.

@autocar £45k on a temu looking, unknown, poor quality car with no service centres… yeah ok
English

Holy fuck. Just been pointed out that this RS3 Competition is £93k. 😳
Ninety three thousand pounds.
For an A3.

Dear Audi RS fanboys - these little flics do FUCK ALL on your RS3. Thankyou. <message ends>

@SupercarOwner None of this is new. Always making losses… maybe cut your cloth accordingly?

Aston Martin has published their FY 2025 results, and it doesn’t look good. It can be best summed up as a ‘sea of red’, resulting in stocks to hit an all-time low. The full results do not make pleasant reading.

@whatcar Interested to know why you’d pick the facelift car with the turbo engine, some known faults and in contrast to the gen 1 naturally aspirated model that is going up in value for really decent examples..

The Porsche 911 (991) is a sports car that’s now more tempting than ever as a used buy. It blends everyday usability with legendary performance – just watch out for those PDK gearbox gremlins. 🏎️💨

@hjwakerley I was suitably impressed by the S8 at its launch event in 2019. Living with a facelift S8 for a week in Germany in 2023 only underlined how the Audi would be my choice over the S-Class and 7-Series as both a drivers' car and one to ride in.

English

Why are more people not talking about how good this car is?
After a weekend flawlessly negotiating -27 in a new Audi A6 and a week cruising about in the latest Audi S8, I’m starting to wonder why more people aren’t talking about Audi.
Putting aside the leaked images of their new car, the only thing you really hear is muttering about how confusing the names are.
Forget the names. The cars are bloody amazing.
I never for a second thought I’d be remotely interested in this car when Thomas said he was borrowing it. Despite having worked for Audi in the past and owning a first gen Audi R8, I had almost forgotten about their existence.
We get plenty of cars coming and going and I barely share any of them, but this car shook me up a bit. It’s got annoying things like the lane assist and the speed bonging, but it’s all muted and seems more of a considerate nudge than normal.
It’s fun and comfortable, and a couple of times I actually gasped as it outperformed what I expected of it. Just turning it was an experience.
So who the hell cares how they name these things? Why aren’t there more S8s on the road? Try to remember the last time you saw one.
Ronin is not an answer.
Apologies for the rant… it just felt necessary.

@harrym_vids Seem to remember the foam didn’t work in my GranTurismo either…

Out last night to see Wuthering Heights (I loved it but I haven’t read the book) then a nice meal, followed by pothole hell on the way home.
Out in the wilds, no spare, foam didn’t work and ended up with M jnr coming out with the trailer to pick us up.
Cotswolds now known as Potswolds for good reason..

These are the new 2026 Audi headlights. Audi has always been ahead in lighting technology
I might be wrong but I feel this kind of dynamic lighting can become a distraction.
When lights keep moving, your eyes tend to chase them instead of focusing straight ahead.
Headlights should ideally be precise, stable, and focused forward. What do you think?🤔
English

@AutoPap The posts you’ve put up on this are the first I’ve hated… because I could have ordered one and didn’t….I’m too ashamed to say what EV I did. In my defence, it was for a dog car and was worried on the boot space.. however…as for anyone really hating an R5? You don’t know cars
English

Have to say reliabilty of new @F1 cars has been amazing and, although only a tiny bit shorter, with the smaller tyres they do look a lot smaller. Only complaint is the ugly 'inwash' boards - which teams want to 'outwash' as much as possible - but do make neat advertising boards!
English

@SkySportsF1 I think somebody has dubbed some hairdryers over this? Truly terrible sound.
English

@theintercoolerx @Andrew_Frankel A great article @Andrew_Frankel and the first time you’d actually get me to consider one over a 911. My worry would be how good the third party warranty actually is… and then I hear a NA 991.1 GTS at full beans… 🤔
English

‘What else could you buy for so (relatively) little, with that blend of performance, handling, scarcity, brand desirability and looks?’
@Andrew_Frankel does some (relatively) affordable Man Maths with the sublime McLaren 570S.

@whatcar Had an X7 on test, great car for those needing a big wagon. Torn between that and the Merc GLS (used to have a GL ten years ago and fond memories).. people like to mock SUV’s but the high driving position means you spot danger sooner, and if you want to keep the family safe..

@AutoPap Spot on, and what amazes me more is that others have already tried it and realised it doesn’t work.
English

"Shares of Sweden’s Volvo Cars tumbled nearly 25% on Thursday morning, putting the company on track for its worst trading day ever"
Whilst I love the look of the cars, the agency model they've adopted in the UK is a mess. I've experienced the chaos first hand.
Go back to proper sales people on commission who are incentivised to sell.
People love buying from people. I'd buy one tomorrow if I trusted the process.

Is the Jaguar I-Pace the ultimate used EV bargain? ⚡️
It’s got the badge, the performance and an interior that still feels modern. But before you head to the forecourt, there are a few things you need to know about real-world range and reliability.
