Another day, another ABAP job description. No SAP BTP or HANA or any of the stuff talked about at the conferences. Phew. Have to live in a specific US city though because you'll have to drag your ass to the office to work on Web Dynpro, which you should understand STRONGLY.

Positiv: Bei einer PV Anlage ohne die 800W Limitierung tritt der negative Effekt nicht auf. 2/2

@balkonsolar @eljenzo @andreaswinckler Zumindest bei Balkonsolar(max 800W) ist das in der Praxis leider nicht optimal gelöst.
Wenn man bei Hoymiles 4 Panels anschließt und auf 800W limitiert, dann bleibt beim Ausfall/Reduktion eines Panels (Schatten) das Limit von 200W auch für die übrigen Panels bestehen. 1/2

Not sure how to solve the different approaches. Making a page layout simple and then try to get intense content to be placed, discussed & raise motivation for interaction seems not to work.

In the ERP area (SAP Ecosystem) Oracle was dominating 10y ago. With some MaxDB, SybaseASE & IBM DB2. Today SAP HANA is dominating.
It‘s not always about who is the best. But who is mostly supported.

Yeah, IBM DB2 is a strange one. No one ever talks about it. And that is so strange. It's like people on Mars are using it, nobody on Earth uses it, but they do. It's just the cultures are different. I'm in San Francisco, surrounded by startups, AI startups, and others, and the discussion is always MySQL, Postgres, and Oracle. So, where the hell are all the DB2 users? It's a decent database.

The best database out there, by far, is Oracle. It works in the highest percentage of situations. Now, if you think PostgreSQL works for you, you're lucky, because it works for some cases and it doesn't for others. If you're using MySQL and it works, you're even luckier. It's not because MySQL or PostgreSQL are as good as Oracle, it's just you're lucky.

today, larry ellison became the 2nd richest dude on the planet and i'm sitting on oracle's website like 'what does oracle even do?' for real, ask 10 devs what oracle's main product is and watch 9 of them stutter. but realistically, it doesn't matter that we don't know. oracle's business model: 1) make some database thing 2) sell it to massive corps for ungodly amounts of $$$ 3) lock them into multi-year contracts 4) sit back and watch the billions roll in they're not trying to be the cool kid at the dev party. they're busy being the landlord who owns the whole block. takeaway: you don't need everyone to understand your product. in b2b or b2c. you just need the right customers who can't live without you. find your oracle play.
