With this incoherent gobbledygook, the most "transparent Administration in history" tries to quell the furor caused by its own carelessness. Why not stop all the lying and just release Volume 2 of the Jack Smith report so we the people can review the evidence and decide ourselves? Every other Special Counsel Report—Robert Hur, John Durham, Robert Mueller, Jack Smith I—has been released. Why is it so important to suppress this one? If you’re not hiding anything, release it!

In a 2021 recording, Trump is heard discussing “confidential” and “secret” documents, including a plan of attack involving Iran. In the recording, Trump acknowledges that he cannot declassify the documents. He was later indicted under the Espionage Act.

News broke that Trump stole classified documents for money and committed espionage as a private citizen. Some of classified info was so sensitive that only 6 people could legally view it. In Trump's lust to have the DOJ and Congress go after Jack Smith for investigating his crimes, Pam Bondi accidentally gave one of the hidden documents showing Trump's guilt to Rep Jamie Raskin. Trump can be criminally charged when he leaves office and impeached for it if Dems take the House. No immunity. No double jeopardy. This would a new criminal indictment after Judge Aileen Cannon corruptly threw out the prior slam dunk case against him. The penalties for Trump's espionage crimes are massive. Robert Hanssen, Aldrich Ames spent the rest of their lives in prison for doing less than what Trump has done.

The "most transparent DOJ in history" is doing legal gymnastics to prevent the American people from ever seeing Special Counsel Jack Smith's full report on how Trump stole classified documents to advance his corrupt business interests. If the DOJ is so confident in Trump's conduct, why are they desperate to keep Smith's report under lock and key? Stop the cover-up, release the evidence and let the American people decide for ourselves.

This is yet another piece of evidence that Washington still doesn’t understand the shift Iran has gone through during the war. The regime today is more radical, less centralized, and increasingly convinced that it is winning, which means it believes it can dictate the terms of how this conflict ends. That leaves Trump with two real options: Either de facto surrender a ceasefire without a deal, or an agreement shaped around Iran’s demands or a major escalation, with severe consequences for the global system and the international economy. This is the direct result of a campaign built on flawed assumptions — especially a fundamental misreading of Iran’s resilience. Iran is not Venezuela. There is no Delcy Rodríguez waiting in Tehran. And there is no silver bullet for the Iran problem. Period.

No president has run up the debt faster while promising the opposite. We cannot cut our way out of a hole this deep. We have to grow revenue, too. The wealthiest Americans and most profitable corporations should pay their fair share. Social Security is now projected to hit insolvency by 2032. Without action, that triggers an automatic 23 percent benefit cut for every retiree in America. The One Big Ugly Bill actually accelerated that date. We need to pass the Social Security 2100 Act, which fixes this by lifting the payroll tax cap on the highest earners. Only millionaires and billionaires would contribute more. If you are tired of being told deficits don’t matter when your party is in power, just want someone to be straight with you, or believe government should actually work, this moment demands the same thing from all of us: honest leadership.
