Exciting news: Today I voted to pass a bipartisan housing bill to make it easier to build housing, simpler for our neighbors to buy a house and harder for the private equity firms to stockpile single-family homes. This is a promising step towards making housing more affordable for our people. I’m grateful to @RepMaxineWaters and @SenWarren for seeing this bill through.

This Juneteenth, we remember the news of emancipation reaching America’s last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas and the continued struggle for a more perfect union. As MAGA Republicans in the White House, Congress and the Supreme Court carve up the Voting Rights Act, we must fight back creatively for freedom and democracy for all.

After the 2020 election, banks and credit card issuers estimated that fraud cases involving WinRed were as much as 3% of their total national fraud workload—more than 800 cases. MAGA's legislative harassment of, and attempts to prosecute, ActBlue are a confession and self-indictment of WinRed's continuing serious fraud against small Republican donors. If they treat their own donors like that—confiscating their credit cards and signing them up for monthly contributions without their consent—what would they do to the rest of us?
