The real votes.
And people like @dananessel and @JocelynBenson are freaking out about it.
But I have a serious questionโฆ
Why is transparency a problem?
Wayne County is the biggest county in Michigan. If youโre going to verify anything, thatโs exactly where youโd start.
We audit EVERYTHING in this countryโbanks, businesses, even our taxes.
But when it comes to elections, suddenly itโs:
โDonโt look. Just trust us.โ
That doesnโt sit right.
If everything is clean, then showing the ballots shouldnโt be controversial.
It should be easy.
Michigan voters deserve more than โjust trust us.โ
We deserve proof. Transparency and accountability arenโt extreme. Theyโre necessary.

Deceptive and excessively confusing marketing like this should be illegal
Bounty paper towels make multiple different sizes that are all so similar, itโs extremely easy to get confused into buying one thatโs likely not the better deal
It should just be sold in standard equal measurements, like by foot
