i work 40+ hours a week at a 9-5 AND maintain multiple raid-ready WoW characters AND have a social life and i'm STILL able to make solid progress
the only thing i really, really think they need to address is how rare key 06 is. everything else? absolutely perfect.

i've played this map with pros from other games and i've played this map with 9-5 havers
it's absolutely peak either way and the keycards (outside of card 06) are easily achievable. i'm sitting at 3/6 subroutines and i haven't been grinding particularly hard since the first week

even with the tiny showcase the demo had it was pretty clear this game was going to be as vast as an ocean and as deep as a puddle. i had 0 interest in it after trying the demo and after seeing the reviews? somehow, some way, i'm less interested than that

seeing all the astroturfed hype for crimson desert was weird because like... they had it at pax east last year. it was underwhelming as hell. all style (well, "style") and very little substance. needing a 10 minute video to explain how to play a demo is not a good sign!

Cryo Archive is legitimately the greatest extraction shooter map, full stop
insanely engaging, tons of crazy secrets to uncover, fun gameplay, amazing loot density, fun ass PvP
this elevated Marathon from a great game to something approaching a perfect 10 for me

plus the obligatory update your mods, update your GPU drivers, turn back on lua errors and make sure nothing's popping, re-enable game bar if you're on X3D, consider using Hyperframe for extra framerate, the usual stuff
game went from unplayable to smooth with no work at all

pro tip for WoW players:
if you see your framerate dipping into the 30s with an X3D CPU and a 3090 - for the love of god, make sure you have your DPPC Preferred Cores set to Driver in BIOS and the core scheduler is running. went from 30 -> 120 fps in raids immediately
