If we look at this another way around, it is not kind of a loss but defensively it was solid for Chelsea but in terms of offensive play it is a little bit predictable and not much of a good threat. Looking at Alonso's tactics, Chelsea relies heavily on wing backs and getting a left-wing back like Maxi Arujo would definitely be a boost for Chelsea
