@productdevbook @faith Makes sense. If the package that you want to create hasn't been used in a long time, maybe you could contact NPM. But I hope that you can find a good name for this package. Excited for what you're building. The preview picture looks really cool.

@CameronPak @faith I don't want that because I need to keep the name very short.

npm hit me with a “package name too similar” error and now I’m supposed to rename my whole project 😔 like… katea1, katea2, karma exist so mine is a problem?? having to change the name just to publish feels so unnecessary guess I’m not publishing on npm today 😭

Are we (JS devs) using Admin panels? Laravel has Nova. Rails has Active Admin. Django ships one out of the box. What do we have 👀 Genuinely curious what everyone is using, or if this just isn't a thing in the JS world.

Every church already has two things: • A bulletin to share announcements, events, and sermon notes • A connect card to capture information from visitors But both are still mostly physical… static… and easy to miss. What if you could offer a digital version of both, instantly accessible from any phone? That’s exactly why I built InTheBulletin.com With InTheBulletin, your church can: • Share a fully digital bulletin that’s always up to date • Let people access everything from their phone, no app required • Capture visitor and attendee info through digital connect cards • Update announcements, links, and notes in real time • Integrate directly with your ChMS No more outdated print materials. No more missed connections. No more friction. Just a simple, modern way to keep your church informed and connected every Sunday. And the best part, you can get started for free. If your church already has a bulletin and a connect card… this is the natural next step. inthebulletin.com

@CameronPak @samlambert pretty sure the joke is that PlanetScale's "free tier" is people using Neon then upgrading to them afterwards. Like viewing those free tier dbs as a training wheels funnel for their real grown up db (otherwise wouldn't those users upgrade to paid neon instead of jumping ship?)

We sell Basecamp and HEY, but mostly we give away all our work for free in the form of open source software. Here are 31 distinct open source releases just over the last five years, all from the crew at 37signals: gist.github.com/jorgemanrubia/… Pay or free, we make everything for the same reason: We need it, we want it, and we think we've found a better way. And if we do, surely others do, so we do this for them, too.
