@RealSwimParent @Garyhumpage1 Not a chore - although hard when your other children don’t swim and do other sports and you haven’t seen them for 3 days due to a swim meet everyone’s family circumstances are different🤔it’s what we do for our kids & a way of life 👍

@Garyhumpage1 There must be a balance. 48 weeks of 5 days a week & probably 24 of those weekends involving some form of training/racing. There’s a fine line between pursuing dreams & an unhealthy balance. I’m sure most people in swimming would agree a balance is vital? Especially with kids!

Doing what they love supported by team mates, achieving their goals, families supporting is great way to spend their time together making memories forever, anyone thinks this is a chore may wish to think again about sport
