I always bought my children to the polling booth whenever we had an election. Yesterday my eldest son became a US citizen. His first act was to register to vote. We should never underestimate the impact of showing the young the importance of democracy 💙

One of the interesting things about launching a business is finding all the little “fees and levies” (stealth taxes) you have to pay. Todays treat was the Tory initiated “data protection fee” which costs between £40 and £3k depending on your circs.

I'm absolutely disgusted that BBC Politics invited the MP who raped me onto their show to discuss rape and violence against women. I cannot describe my anger, it would have taken seconds to google his arrest history or to speak to their colleagues in the investigation department
