Payne Haas will undergo surgery on his Lisfranc injury next week. He had initially avoided surgery & returned 4 weeks post injury - playing 76 minutes in Round 26. This surgery type usually comes with a 3-4 month recovery period - challenging rehab for important part of the foot

Jamal Fogarty has been ruled out for the Raiders this week after suffering a minor hamstring injury at training (via @Super_Couch). Tough to return to play within 10 days of minor hammy strains due to the elevated re-injury risk - could mean Fogarty’s season is over.

Nicho Hynes a confirmed starter for the Sharks in Round 26 - an 8 week return to play after he required surgery on a tibia fracture & ruptured syndesmosis. Impressive return time with a complex injury like that. Siosifa Talakai won’t play - succumbing to a lingering calf issue.

Tom Trbojevic came off with a significant facial laceration & shoulder injury. Positive news is he passed his HIA - not so positive news is he will go for scans on a suspected AC joint injury. Had previous instability episode in right shoulder (2020) so adds to the concern.
