@n3c1k Ah, I see. I asked because my current method is much simpler: I sample 9 weighted body points, raycast them against the static map mesh, apply FOV, then calculate visible body coverage. So I was trying to understand how much more accurate full GPU visibility method would be

smoooooth animgraph2 external replay that's my internal tool used to get precise aim related stats for the statistics for those who wonder how the real model looks vs hitbox - its shown a bit in the video might consider adding textures and lightning for fun and exercise

@n3c1k what i meant by LOS raycast is using tri static map mesh + raycasts in order to determine visibility of players. u previously said u use "GPU vision detection with animation reconstruction", so i wondered how much more accurate is that compared to tri mesh+raycasts

@n3c1k thanks, got it. I also once asked a question under your other post, but i'll ask here too: have you compared the actually accuracy of GPU rendering method vs LOS raycast? Since rebuilding a scene from demo's ticks is quite heavy, i wondered if it yields substantial improvement

@SiNister1080p What are you talking about? You can perfectly cheat on both XBOX and PS5. Multiple emulation devices and AI cheats exist there and usually it's even safer to cheat on those platforms than PCs.

PC matchmaking finally broke me. I’ve been on PC for years, but the cheater situation in PvP many of the PC Extraction shooters and FPS games in general is an ongoing battle of frustration for most Between family life, streaming, and content creation, my time is limited. Wasting hours of trying to get some awesome rounds which end up ruined by rage-hackers just ain't fun. Having this issue with GZW was why I recently stopped playing it as I was literally getting Targeted by rage hackers who would call out my name when I have streamer mode on and even not streaming LOL. DMZ/COD in general is know for having ongoing issues with cheaters So recently I picked up a PS5 Pro. Honestly? I'm blown away by how good it feels. Booting up DMZ with crossplay turned OFF has made the game actually feel fair again. Sure, the one-shot shotguns and RGLs are a pain, but at least that's a balance issue and not someone running Walls or aimbot etc I’m officially making the move over to the PS5 Pro for DMZ and DMZ 2. I have best of both worlds, I can play crossplay with my PC mates and when doing solo stuff, just turn off crossplay. Less frustrating deaths and easier time getting content recorded :-)

Tried this in the playtest Fun game and hitting transfers, sprays, and movement is very satisfying. It really hits when you get into flowstate Despite being an early version, gunplay feels overall pretty good and the customization between loadouts and attachments adds a lot of depth Some of the modes like CTF are pretty fun and fit perfectly, but the capture the mech wasn't that special Overall mechs seemed like a weird addition since they didn't really seem to serve any purpose when the game revolves around movement. Would most likely just avoid any modes with them when the game comes out Some of my concerns involve aim assist feeling very strong and oppressive, as it kind of shuts down a lot of attempts of moving in the first place, but also the game being skill focused and from what I saw, lacking real casual appeal. If you want hardcore, it could be up your alley (as long as inputs are balanced, or at least separated) The price tag will be a hard sell from what I played, but thankfully we will be able to give the game a try for free very soon

@n3c1k have you tested it against the geometric LOS approximation from demo state (using tri static map mesh + raycasts), how big of an advantage is your approach? would be interested in seeing numbers. Because your approach is magnitudes heavier i believe.

@Kerovski I mean apart from manual reviews, you can't really detect AI aim assist. They just need to hire like 5-10 people with strong analysis tools to ban those obvious cheaters, there's no way around it. 2 PC AI Aim Assist is almost undetectable if done right

The amount of cheaters right now on FACEIT is concerning. I have 100s of reports on my discord. Before I needed to check many reports to find an obvious cheater. Now, I can click on any report and it's an obvious cheater. I am seriously worried about the state of the only platform where most of us can play. The rage aimlock cheater from my last videos is still playing, no ban. I am already preparing 6 more videos of cheaters that I found in reports. You must understand, I am talking about obvious cheaters. I also saw many people are tagging me in different videos, where players are obviously cheating. You must understand that this is fault of FACEIT AC TEAM. They don't ban ai aim assist users cause they can't detect it. They don't ban obvious cheaters that are ragging on FACEIT. FACEIT right now is overrun and cheaters are in every elo.

@Kerovski I did something even better :) I had no-recoil script running on both old and newer patches. Same script, same mouse pattern. On older patch everything lands in the same spot, on the new patch everything is semi-random. Idk what they changed, but they in fact did.

I ran server from 25. April, to prove that the game worked better before cache update. And it's 5x better. I AM ON 68 PING. Everything is clean, your mouse instant feels "free". Kill feedback, sounds, holding angles, everything is beautiful. I can just go around and shoot for hours. And no armor aim punch. I knew it was not placibo, or my PC, or "i'm tripping" noobs were saying. I instant felt that cache update broke the game. You are always welcome on my kick stream to try this version.

My proposal: What if valve puts a bunch of specs with hitboxes inside the thick walls and behind map walls and in floors etc? Wouldn’t that mess up wall hacks purpose since the cheater will just be seeing boxes everywhere
