While I can empathize with the WSB traders - as they just learned, you can’t beat Wall Street in public equities (or bonds.) Wall Street controls those markets. Layers and layers of gatekeepers that can freeze trading or whatever else they want.

@CivilSmite The Senate does not control the timing of the impeachment process. The House can hold sending the impeachment articles to the Senate for as long as they wish. Once sent, a clock starts running re. beginning a trial in the Senate.

If Republicans actually knew how to play this #impeachment game, the Senate would go ahead w/impeachment & Pence would appoint the first black female VP in history
