2024 really has been a rollercoaster for me, full of ups and downs, loopydeeloops and everything inbetween! Something that kept me going throughout was the understanding and support of my constituents. The City of Durham truly is the best place in the world with the greatest people. Here’s to a happy, peaceful (🤞🏼) and joyful 2025! #HappyNewYear #HappyNewYear2025

I voted for a ceasefire in the last parliament. I'll keep pushing for one in the next. Grateful for the work of @LFPME. Thank you for your endorsement.

🔔 Ringing The Bell 💗 What an emotional day. My radiotherapy treatment is complete & I’m so lucky to be cancer free. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes & the amazing NHS teams who’ve looked after me at the QE and Freeman hospitals. You saved my life.

Ahead of the general election, I wanted to give a brief update on my health since my breast cancer diagnosis. My recovery has gone well and I'm confident I'll be out on the campaign trail very soon. More ⬇️🌹 #Labour2024

It's time. #Labour2024

🧵1/3 I'm unable to be in Parliament next week because I have recently suffered another bereavement. I'm gutted. I had every intention of participating in the opposition day debate on Wednesday and voting for an immediate ceasefire.

Shameless. Just be honest. Your “recovery” plan is actually another nail in the coffin for NHS dentistry.
