I make a decent living but the cost to purchase a home in Los Angeles is a lot more than people realize in 2026. Downpayment, Mortgage, & Mortgage insurance with interest rates at the number they are at along with housing cost. To live in Los Angeles city specifically will cost.

Not even trying to argue i rock with rich and Los angeles is an anomaly when it comes to housing. His point is spot on for most of the country
