Big wins this week in district play taking both games vs Southlake Carroll. Our starting pitching has been lights out @ethanreitz6 Braden Bowers and we are hitting well. Tonight I made a big catch in top 6th tied up 2-2 and then hit game winner in bottom 6th. We are 3-1 in district with Byron Nelson up next. Through 4 district games hitting 300, 3RBI, and 3R. Had a competitive 2nd Tourney with my teammates. We went 2-2-1 against some really good competition. Struggled at the plate a bit, but had many great opportunities defensively. Got 1 more tourney before we kick off district play in 6A-4 Texas. After scrimmages and 2 tourneys I am hitting 355 with OPS of 899. #1%bettereveryday

He started December 19th at 155 lbs. Most baseball players weren’t even thinking about spring yet. In 52 days he gained 17 pounds. That’s 2.3 lbs per week. Same athlete. Same skill set. But this time… the first camp he walked into he got offered on the spot. Before the weight gain? “Colleges like you… we’ll keep an eye on you.” After the weight gain? Got some great pitching mechanics/lower half focus, hitting/leveling the shoulders, and power work in this week at ZLP. 1% better each day and trusting the process.
