You don’t save money by the reserves not playing every week you slow down game, club and player development. All clubs get the same amount of money every year although not all spending it wisely.

@markcass13 Need to make game safer for community players as injuries are a problem with work. Having an environment that is less focussed on results and more so on the community element will promote sustained involvement in Rugby League like it did before Mark.

@CoachWindley Sadly, culture of the society has absolutely strangled the amateur game! Players, unless they play conference, have zero commitment or respect for their coaches out team mates.! Ultimately they hold the coach over a barrel

If you love rugby league: Championship and league 1 must come together. Two conference leagues Split it into two regional leagues (best you can) Regional grand final into Super grand final.@TheRFL

We’re saddened to share that Donald Rose, the UK’s oldest WWII veteran, has passed away at 110.
A sniper with the Queen’s Royal Regiment, he served in North Africa, survived D-Day, and helped liberate Bergen-Belsen.
His legacy and sacrifice will not be forgotten ❤️

I won’t lie, I’m struggling massively at the minute.
I’ve got an amazing family and a great job but just can’t shake the sadness and anger off.
I don’t want to lose any of it but I’m terrified I’m going to by the way I am.

Wigan and St Helens became World Club Champions by nurturing their own players.Clubs who thrive at player development should be rewarded with extra money on the cap. It will encourage other clubs to continue developing their own players.

The RL development system is not helping game development,
player development and player welfare. You can’t be a grade A club or sport without 3 grades playing every week.

It’s maybe time to go back to playing reserve games on a Wednesday night and picking the subs for first team after those games. Doesn’t matter whether it’s a foreign player or not if they’re not playing up to standard they,like everyone else,earn their spot through mens reserves.
