@MrBraindown @Ramma_____ Likewise, but as I remind my son, in his 17 years of supporting Swindon, he's seen two promotions, two relegations, and been to Wembley twice to watch his team 🔴🏐.

@Ramma_____ It’s this sort of stuff that has saddled me with supporting Swindon. Both my boys are now cursed with it as well…. and I couldn’t be happier.

No other answer is correct, if you fall outside these parameters then you’re a customer, not a fan You can’t just pick & choose who you support

@RunComPod These episodes were essential listening during my #manchestermarathon yesterday. Keep them going. They're great. My finishing time, a pleasing 3hrs 49mins.

Seems like an eternity since the Town last played #stfc @suttonunited Incidently the place name 'Sutton' and people named Sutton is one of Britain's most common names Sutton Benger nr Chippenham etc Its Anglo Saxon old English derived from South Farm (sud-tun) Up the Town!

#stfc fans, we want your opinions please. We are recording tomorrow our fan favourite/guilty pleasure 11s - who makes your team? This is not your best Swindon 11, but those players you enjoyed watching even if you don't know why. #STFCFanChat

@leefer3 It was Knights Kiosk (late 70's, early 80's). Centre News was in the Brunel Plaza, Havelock Street end.

@MrBraindown We haven't been for about 16 years, 2 x children put a stop to New Year antics! As far as I know the town still dresses up though. I was regularly Ozzy Osbourne or Paul Stanley in full Kiss makeup! We would have been in Central 20 years ago, as well as Sailors, Bertie's etc.

@ColinSutton7 Now that would be weird! We went every New Year for about ten years. Does the whole Town still do the fancy dress thing these days though?

Hope everyone enjoyed their New Year celebrations? For me it also marked the exact moment I met my wife for the first time, twenty years ago in the Central Inn in Newquay. How time flies!

@Stephen78857051 @Pinneroz An amazing game. My first away game was the following leg away to Wolves. I still hold a grudge about that one. Didn't we thump Bury 8-0 at home about then too.

OTD in 1979 I was lucky enough to see one of the greatest ever cup ties @ The County Ground. Under lights, the huge crowd created an electric atmosphere as STFC beat Arsenal 4-3 in extra time to reach the semi-finals of the League Cup. If you were there, what are your memories?
