Because for about last 30 yrs, gay producers and female casting directors deliberately cast ppl who appeal to them (feminine men, twinks). They had their uses, but they didnt have the universal appeals. This led to none of them building up the name value enough to carry the movies. Now, that Hollywood is struggling. They need the A listers, but they dont have new ones. So, they are constantly casting same 10 people.

Why are the majority of leading actors, action stars all dudes in their late 50s and 60s. We didn't have this problem 30 years ago.
