Most families are sold a dream before they’re told the truth. College ProspeX is not a recruiting service 🚫 I don’t place athletes🚫 I don’t contact college coaches 🚫 (They want to hear from Athletes) I help athletes & families understand: • What level they’re realistically ready for ✅ • What’s working (and what isn’t) ✅ • What steps actually matter next✅ Clarity first. Execution second. That’s how recruiting should work. 💪🏼

Plenty of elite athletes in D3 and NAIA for that matter. Watch Washington (MO), Emory, Tufts, Messiah and John Hopkins to name just a few. Those ladies can play and would compete against most D1 programs outside of the Top 25. Just because they chose a smaller setting and higher academics doesn’t mean they are not elite.

@BamBamVan1 @ImCollegeSoccer There are plenty of D3 teams who would smack D1 teams. I get it, but saying there are not elite D3 players is wrong. They are just elite players who chose a higher academic institution and/or didn't want the soccer part to be a full time job.

Which would you choose? A: A D3 spot with a $100k scholarship over 4yrs & chance to start your freshman yr. But you’d still owe 40k. B: A D1 spot with a scholarship for $50k over 4 years where you would sit the bench for the first 2 years. But you’d still owe 20k. #CSTruth

@ImCollegeSoccer It’s more ego than affordability. D3 Merit scholarships and various grants often total as much as or more than D1 offers.

DM: A lot of people complain about the D1 or bust mentality but the truth is that most can’t afford the D3 price tags. We know D3 is an amazing option but unfortunately D1’s are often a more affordable option. So it’s not D1 or bust it’s what can I afford or bust. -Parent #CSTruth Truth! Student loans and large amount of debt out of college SUCKS!

@ImCollegeSoccer Take the offer at the school that is the most academically prestigious and gives you the most $$$. Most top players will be very disappointed at the current state of College Soccer. It’s a disaster

Instead of committing to a D1 school just to impress your friends and the friends of your parents, go somewhere you have a good chance of playing your 1st year and not transfer after 1 year. Nothing impressive about sitting the bench all 4 years or being let go after 1 year. #CSTruth

@mlycan12 You would think at some point the NCAA would actually ask coaches of all sports their opinion regarding any rule changes. I mean collaboration isn’t a bad word. Once again they are the smartest in the room…just ask them.

If a universal 5th year becomes reality, women’s soccer will be hit especially hard--it presents more than a coaching problem, it's a math problem. The current 28-player cap already gives women’s soccer very little room to absorb even the occasional redshirt year; extending that same possibility to every athlete would turn an existing strain into a routine roster problem The 28 cap--or 2.5x number of field players, has always seemed arbitrary and disproportionate compared to: Basketball: 15 for 5 = 3x Women’s lacrosse: 38 for 12 = 3.17x Men’s lacrosse: 48 for 10 = 4.8x Now do the math: 28 ÷ 4 classes = 7 per class 28 ÷ 5 years = 5.6 per class You cannot create a system that presents a possiblity of every athlete occupying a roster spot for five years while still capping women’s soccer at 28 and expect the result to be stable. The math guarantees compression. And when rosters compress, student-athletes pay the price — through cuts, lost opportunities, and de-committed players. Remember the cuts and chaos that followed when roster limits were first imposed after the NCAA settlement? In women’s soccer, a universal 5th year would risk making that same kind of roster compression not an isolated event, but a recurring reality under our current roster cap. #MathProblem #PutTheAthletesFirst

Dumb move by the cops for sure. They they got somebody killed, whether he was innocent or not, that’s not the cops job to decide, that’s the judge, and then they got a persons property completed destroyed in the process too. All they had to do was stop the chase, wait for sighting, then get them when they stop which happens all the time.

@stoolpresidente I’m from New York and have been out here in Indy for almost 20 years now… there’s only one place I get pizza - it’s Perillo’s in North Salem. It’s about a 45 minute drive from Indianapolis. Well worth it!

Indiana WR Nick Marsh wore gold cleats to IU's first spring camp session. Curt Cignetti was not pleased to see that. "He learned what getting your ass ripped is all about. I don't know if that happened to him very often at Michigan State." #iufb

@OhThePain81 @Jared_Kelly7 It’s a mindset. One team. Every player looks the same, acts the same and gives the same effort. It’s not the uniform. You don’t have to like it but it works. Google him.

@Jared_Kelly7 I’m sorry but it’s utter crap like this that makes this guy completely unlikable. Before this I’d consistently just scream FFS SMILE JUST ONCE. Now it’s just nothing but evident fact this guy is just a miserable douche. Personally hope people don’t go there BECAUSE of him.

The idea that you have to play ECNL to play D1 is overstated. ECNL can open doors, but it’s not the only path. Plenty of D1 programs recruit from GA, RL and strong regional clubs. There’s nothing wrong with playing in the MAC, OVC or Horizon and any other non P4 conference. Those are good programs and real opportunities. Talented players who approach recruiting with strategy and persistence give themselves a real chance to play college soccer at any level.

@ImCollegeSoccer If you want D1, then 1 and 2 must be at the ECNL level. For most players, GA, ECNL-RL, etc. will not get you in front of the right coaches. NO ECNL club in your immediate area, then join the closest one you can find and commute.

Here’s my question. According to reports the Eagles have made Jalen Carter available. He is arguably their best DLineman. So why would they make him available after just 3 years? If reports are true and he is available it’s fairly easy to figure out why

@JesseKellyDC It’s funny all these Canucks didn’t have a problem when Binnington made 31 saves and 6 unbelievable saves in OT when Canada beat the US in the 4 Nations Cup. That’s hockey they said. Typical Canadians.

I wish more people understood hockey and understood that Canada outplayed America in that game. The only reason America won was the goalie. And everyone knows goaltending isn’t part of hockey.

I can’t get over the fact that Canadians are calling Megan Keller’s game winner a bush league goal. The United States caught the Canadians on a line change and took advantage. Was a filthy deke. Goalie and defender both got walked.

I agree with this but some programs get hundreds of emails during a recruiting cycle. They are often understaffed so responding to everyone is difficult. With that being said, I DO feel that if a coach see’s a subject line that peaks their interest enough to open the email, read it and watch the attached reel they should respond even if not interested. Most I’ve seen do so. If a prospect is being ghosted too often there is likely a problem with the content of the email, the highlight reel, or the program level being targeted.
