ANONYMOUS CONVERT REMOVES & BURNS PARISH PRIDE FLAG - SINFUL OR NOT? An anonymous Catholic man removed and burned a “pride” flag from the openly heterodox, pro-LGBT Catholic, All Saints Catholic Church in Syracuse, New York, during the night of June 6–7, 2025. According to the parish, the flag had been raised for Pride Month and flown alongside the American flag, which was also lowered that night. According to Fr. Daley, the man later emailed the parish anonymously, saying he is a recent convert to Catholicism and that he had burned the sacrilegious flag. Daley and the man exchanged a few emails, during which Daley attempted to persuade him that the Catholic Church supports the LGBT lifestyle. The parish ended up replacing the flag.
