@ChasenTheLegacy One reason why I assume in the event he does earn live defensive snaps down the stretch, it'll most likely be at safety / nickel.

Utah State DB Noah Avinger is an intriguing late-round/PFA prospect. Mid-to-late Day 3 grade for me. 85.7 PFSN CB Impact. 4.62 40, 42" vert, 11'3" broad at his pro day. He's a bit light & maxes out in space, but he can play CB, nickel, SAF. Uber-explosive two-phase playmaker.

@stpalme1 He makes an honest effort but he drastically needs to add mass & improve his play strength to be in-line capable at the NFL level. Likely will remain most effective split out in space or as an H-back (has some of that versatility).

Dan Villari at the Syracuse pro day earlier this week: - High 4.6, low 4.7 40 (Some conflicting numbers) - 7.04 3-cone (1st among Combine TEs) - 4.31 shuttle (2nd) His agility and fluidity underscore his sharp route running as a receiver. Another mid-to-late-round TE to know.
Ian Cummings@IC_Draft

Syracuse TE Dan Villari has some of the most impressive route running chops & stem work in this class. SMU game was one of his best. When QB Steve Angeli went down, Villari fell under the radar, but he's got high-level foot speed, decel, & hip sink. Senior Bowl riser candidate.

@Sniperrifle151 In a sense! They’re different players build-wise. Kilgore is a lot longer, more attuned to contend in contact situations / run support, & has better ball skills, but they do both have that alignment versatility, burst, & vertical speed. Can argue Gushiken is more fluid.

Another sleeper who performed well at his pro day today: Ole Miss DB Kapena Gushiken: - 4.35 40-yard dash - 41" vertical, 11' broad - 6.77 3-cone, 4.11 shuttle First caught my eye at Washington State & had a good 2025 season. Can play nickel, two-high, single-high. Glue guy.

@theDirtyDawgCLE @mearstalgia @CamMellor @PFSN365 I think until he improves his block take-on and tackling consistency, he might be more optimized in the Watts role farther back; can be corralled too easily when engaging in contact situations downhill. But the appeal with him is he can move between those alignments in a pinch.

Notre Dame's Billy Schrauth is a really intriguing late-round guard option. 6'5", 310, w/ near-33" arms. Hips are fairly stiff but he has enough initial explosion to execute adjacent-gap reach blocks. Awesome torque & engagement power on gap & duo plays. Heady vs. blitz looks.

Georgia TE Oscar Delp at the Bulldogs' pro day: - 6'5", 245 pounds, 31 5/8" arms - UO 4.48 40-yard dash - 38.5" vert, 10' broad Even with a hairline fracture in his foot, his athleticism popped in 2025. Now that hyper-elite athleticism is quantified. My TE2 in a strong class.

@BU_Scouting Hibner really caught my eye at the Senior Bowl; was arguably the best TE there. Didn't get around to updating his grade as quickly as I would've liked but excited to see him coming in so high.

SMU's Matthew Hibner is my new TE5: - 6'4", 251, 32 3/8" arms - 4.57 40, 37" vert - 31-436-4 in '25 - 2.5% drop rate, 2.4% pressure rate on 84 pass blocking snaps (TruMedia) Showed off his seam-splicing & stem IQ at the Senior Bowl, but he's quietly a complete two-phase TE.

@themicknartin I'd say the two clipped above -- Maryland and Rutgers -- are a couple. Then Northwestern -- he had some really nice reps against Caleb Tiernan -- and I thought he showed glimpses of really nice lateral explosion and close-out range vs. Ohio State.

@IC_Draft Which games should I check out to see his athleticism pop more? He almost looked too heavy in 2025. He's one guy I'm on the fence on right now.

Gabe Jacas' athleticism popped more on the latest watch. At least has the burst to close ground & create angle advantages. Tons more to like: - 6'4", 260, 33" arms, 10" hands - 4-year starter, captain - 27 sacks, 35.5 TFLs If you're banking on production, he's a reliable bet.

@bigvsoy The more I come back to him, the more I think that's right on the fringe for him. I could easily see him going Top 50.

@IC_Draft What is the lowest he will go? Wondering if the Bears can get him with 57.

@burdknowsball @RISportsNews Uber-explosive receiving TE who could potentially fill a Gadsden-lite role for sure! I like Hibner better as a true two-phase TE at the NFL level tho

Still haven't found the bottom of this TE draft class. There are going to be some useful guys still around late rounds/PFA. I have more draftable TEs in this class than any other I've done.

@LLWILLJAY @PFSN To the second Q: Coogan would be a gap scheme fit. Late Day 3 grade from me but will be held in high regard by the league. At 189 or 199, I like that value best. Burton might go earlier. Not as attuned for gap, but he's the superior athlete & has tons of exp & versatility.

@IC_Draft @PFSN Bengals give me your thoughts on the should/will, etc. Also mid to late rd center targets who fit the gap scheme they run. They have apparently met with Pat Coogan, does Jager Burton make sense & where would you think our last chance to take both or whoever the target is at?

@CamMellor @AJGullotta @jacobinfante24 I don't know if he has the long speed I'd want for single-high consistently, but I absolutely think he has the chops to play in two-high looks & rotate from the box. For his size, I found him exceptionally fluid and balanced on his pedal, and quick to react to route fluctuations.

@LLWILLJAY @PFSN Gotchu! - Imo defensive BPA is the move for Cinci in Rd1; if Styles is there, I take him even w/ the youth at LB - Target values at nickel, 3-tech, even-front nose when applicable (prioritized 3tech here) - Masses a boundary CB, Taaffe adds versatility - Day 3 darts at WR, TE
