Shorting futures at scale is literally pretending you have something that you don't. There's no reserves backing these shorts. It's manipulation that will only drive the price up HIGHER because demand won't go down, it'll go UP. They're literally speed running a catastrophe.

One of my most unorthodox takes is that, for the good of French Canadians, Canada should exist in primarily monolingual zones. With services, signage, etc... exclusively provided in French or English everywhere outside a narrow region from Montreal to Ottawa.
