The population of Dubai grew from 1 million to 4 million in the last 25 years, but because of terrific leadership, the emirate has grown beautifully rather than becoming congested like Indian cities. Vision and execution matters. #dubai

The Indigo fiasco proves one thing beyond a shadow of a doubt: This government is the most incompetent one we've had in our history as a nation. Their expertise lies in obfuscation, diversion, suppression of the truth, changing names, and causing fissures in society.

@TopDriverIndia Oh yeah. I should show you my dashcam footage of any T junction. Not a single person knows how to turn right. I'm sure if I spent long enough I might encounter one other person who turns correctly. Out of 100s, maybe 1000s. Can't even get angry anymore. Just laugh at the chaos

Indians have poor communication skills because we are not taught early in schools to give any presentations. It’s always one way communication by the teacher, and students have to listen/learn/byheart. Hence, we grow up having poor communication skills as adults too! At junctions, People in left lane decide to go right, people in right lane decide to go left, total chaos. If we have simple road signs like this to *COMMUNICATE* on the roads, it can eliminate so much of confusion & traffic jams on our roads. Such an easy fix, but nobody does it. WHY? @GHMCOnline @HYDTP @CYBTRAFFIC

@TopDriverIndia We would have to create a new game theory for behavioural nudges to even make a dent. As an engineer, you should've recognised by now that there are no winning odds. As a human, you have seen the lack of empathy. Need: 3 gens of rule-abiders. We have 3 gens of rule-breakers

@rediffcricket @prempanicker "... system that rewards short-term thinking and political alignment over imagination and rigour" - why Shami and Sarfaraz (probably Siraj next) are invisible to selectors. Probably the deeper reason Virat and Rohit quit (while they were ahead). That SKY interview spoke volumes.

@volklub @AarizRizvi But that cabin though. I've driven almost 1000km in Portugal in a rented VW taigo. Similar C-SUV. Of course, roads are fantastic. But missed the comfort of my 2yo venue: ride, suspension, heck, even the sound insulation. Could just be an older, abused rental...

Hyundai can never beat Brezza in NA game. Maruti's gamble with 1.5 NA by paying 40% is a strategy that will keep working to bring automated sales. If Hyundai will focus on Turbo too much, they again are slightly weak as compared to 3XO and Kylaq in a multiple things. Diesel MT and AT are definitely are smart choices but for that 50:50 use, we need 5 stars ratings at hands. Pricing is slightly off too. Keep a close eye on numbers after 6 months.

Spent a day in Goa, this place has turned into a shithole. - You can't get a taxi in 2025, the government has banned Uber and Ola, so you have to use the shittiest app known to humanity - Goa Miles. The UI looks like it was made children playing on an iPad. Minimum 30 mins to get a cab to anywhere. Over this, they don't let the cars from this inside some areas ????? - Everything is vaguely overpriced - restaurants, bars, anything and everything. 2x price for 5x shitty service. - You need to deal with the fucking mafia to rent a scooter/car. - Beaches look like dumping pits (north goa) - Hotels/stays are overpriced and sub par. - Parties are lame, most are empty with the cringest DJs on earth. The local government has managed to destroy the party capital of India succesfully.

@tanveshsawant @nkrishnantweets @buntyverse As goan as they come. Yeah, right. The last time we said something they threatened to beat us up. I've seen kids throw food wrappers and their parents get defensive when you ask if this is what they teach their kids. Goans. And I know the colva cops. The most useless.

@tanveshsawant @nkrishnantweets @buntyverse Come to betalbatim on any day and you will see Goans drinking, eating and trashing the beach. And if you say anything, they either pretend they are deaf/dumb, deny, or fight with you. Most of them are underage and drive/ride off drunk.

@nkrishnantweets @buntyverse We locals never litter, at-least not me, I agree we drink on streets, we have beer on hill tops, we eat on streets but we make sure we take home all the litter that we have. Goans and Keralites have a different love and concern for the nature.

@volklub Just walk around the site. Observe the panels they use around the site. They are designed to neutralize pollutants from the construction process. Some buildings under renovation even have projections on these panels to show what it will look like.

Construction site is surrounded by some kind of protective safety mesh. Hence no dust. Clean city aesthetics too. Every problem has a solution if one is willing to solve. City - Tokyo, Japan

@volklub Nothing is mediocre. Everything works. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Japan is the only country in the world that makes you feel so inferior, but simultaneously so welcome. They don't lord their progress over you, but are so kind and hospitable, showing great empathy

Japan – Noticed a few things on the way to a meeting in Tokyo: ✅ No congestion or long halts even during peak hours, perfectly managed traffic. ✅ Cars over 20 years old are scratchless and look brand new; new car purchases are generally discouraged as per our guide. ✅ Every market has a multi-storey parking lot nearby, so no unnecessary road blocking by parked bikes or cars. ✅ No signboards, political posters, or ads on lamp posts and roadsides. Every street has LED lights, all working. ✅ No street food carts, vegetable vendors, auto-rickshaws, or e-rickshaws. ✅ Absolutely no dirt, resulting in fresh air, clean buildings, and spotless cars. Top grade landscaping. ✅ Separate, commonly used lanes for bicycles. So much to learn…

Lot of other Japanese & European brands with Indian bound products are here at the ‘Japan Mobility Show 2025’ too but no free reach. I will not post any pic/video for them. Will stick to the brand which has given me this opportunity & sponsored the trip.

Japan, there’s so much calm! People commuting to work by bicycle, car, and buses look so neat because of the clean environment. Everything appears perfectly organized! Such calm helps you to be productive. Noise doesn’t.

The fundamental problem with Indian drivers is they don’t treat driving as a ‘social activity’. They treat it as a competition. That’s why everyone is honking, cutting left, cutting right, tailgating. Anything to gain a few seconds. How to change this mindset? #RoadSafety
