@nrl_bunker69 If someone needs to be replaced due to a HIA check from clear foul play then the bunker is obligated to advise that a penalty is required. I had no dog in this fight but I’m sick to death of trivial things being awarded a penalty and clear penalties being missed.

I gotta say as someone who enjoys the dragons failing I felt sick watching flannos press conference. The man looked really distressed and I thought the barrage he copped from Lara Pitt was over the top. For his health I think he needs to step away from the game.

@ReadingThePlay By PVL’s logic, more tries means more entertainment. I would argue more tries means more tv ad opportunities which leads to more viewers tuning out when the games aren’t competitive.

3 games into #nrl rd 5 of new season & we’ve seen a 70pt, 56pt & a 60pt result. Including 52 & 50 put through teams the market pre season rated top 6 or higher. The tv & NRL execs must be pissing themselves at how exciting the rules on the run results have now become. Oh, and can’t wait for the player depth to support 2 new teams. #70points

@david09oneill Because one of the purposes of the six again is to make decisions that cant and won’t be scrutinized (due to the quick nature of the game). PVL was upset about the amount of emphasis commentators put on penalties so this was one of his grand plans to counter it.

@CooperDavid6 I’m just a southerner who follows the storm ☔️ love the game but AFL is first love why don’t the commentators ever question the 6 again any decent team then just scores. They just award so many without any scrutiny ?

Klein will eventually swallow his whistle in the second half but by that stage the damage has been done. The ridiculous over use of the six again has completely changed the fabric of this once great game #NRLPanthersStorm
