Last week I spent a full day with other SaaS founders. Best thing I've done since starting Lumetria. Not for the advice. Not for the network. For the conversations. Talking to people who get it without you having to explain. The doubt at 11pm. The day with zero sales. The tiny win that feels huge but you can't explain to anyone outside. Building solo means spending a lot of time in your own head. That day reminded me : Entrepreneurship is not a lonely road. It's a road where you choose who walks next to you. Find your people.

Something crazy I realized lately. Time flies when you actually love what you do. I remember when I was working a job I hated. I watched the clock every 20 minutes. 2pm felt like it would never end. Friday was the only thing keeping me alive. Now I look up and it's already midnight. I didn't even notice the day passed. Not because I'm grinding. Because I'm building something I care about. That's the difference nobody talks about. It's not about working less. It's about working on something that doesn't feel like work.

NY tech week here we go

Living in NYC, it’s very hard to stick to a no-bread diet—there are bakeries everywhere. The only saving grace is that, being Latino, my palate is accustomed to the exquisite bread from Latin America, so sometimes I can resist... though sometimes I end up giving in to the craving

I love living in Mexico City, where Spanish is the soundtrack of my daily life. That love comes with a cost. Speaking a language that is not your first one means you are always on. Your brain is in overdrive whether you notice it or not, tracking tone and meaning underneath every exchange. Sometimes I just need a conversation in English. If I stumble over a word, it is a normal human moment. In Spanish, the same stumble feels like evidence that I am not as fluent as I thought. A conversation with a friend in English is an exhale. A pause I had been craving.
