@chigup36 @AZ_RE_Digest @tmaxftw You make it sound like people need serious training for this.
It’s literally emailing people. not rocket science

Sending a DocuSign is easy. Negotiating offers, handling inspections, navigating financing issues, coordinating closing, and keeping a deal alive when things go sideways is where experienced agents earn their value.
The barrier isn't the paperwork. It's managing the transaction from start to finish.
English

Realtor commissions have been a massive source of cost push inflation for decades. If we want to make homes more affordable, we also need make the transaction costs affordable.
There is no reason to give someone $133,000 to unlock a door and send a Docusign.
Big Bearish@BigBearBummers
They paid $1,642,400 in '23, so a sale at this price will cover realtor commissions and allow a relatively painless escape from their poorly timed purchase. GEE. WHAT A WEIRD COINCIDENCE.
English

@AZ_RE_Digest @tmaxftw Accountants went to school to study tax laws. The average person can’t/won’t learn that on their own.
But anyone can host an open house, give you a list of comps, and send the DocuSign. There’s close to zero barriers to do a real estate agent’s job
English

@tmaxftw People think of realtor responsibilities the wrong way
You aren't paying a realtor to send DocuSign & open doors
Realtors earn commission for their service, market knowledge & experience
You don't pay accountants to verify your income. You pay them to file your taxes correctly
English

@tmaxftw C’mon man… You’re worse than the fake news. No single person will make $133k. One person might gross 53k at 3%. Many teams and brokerages take 30% so your left w 37k then you’ll pay 1/3 in taxes. So in reality someone could make 26k if they broker this deal.
Reality exists.

NYC has more bodegas than Walmart has stores in the entire United States.
13,000+ bodegas.
4,600 Walmarts.
The bodega is the only retail format that survived Amazon, COVID, and rising rents.
