@bigwil yea, they need to press this harder. the team has a strong interest in $virtual hitting $10, and right now they aren't doing enough to show why it should reach that price.

The $VIRTUAL tokenomics are misunderstood and the value accrual is not appreciated by the market. There is no $VIRTUAL burn, as I noted below. But $VIRTUAL is routinely locked into liquidity pools for 10 years, effectively reducing the circulating supply almost as good as a burn. Nearly 20 million $VIRTUAL locked into liquidity pools. Roughly 3% of circulating supply is locked effectively indefinitely. If you are looking for how $VIRTUAL accrues value, imho, the best metric is tokens locked into LPs. The problem for attracting investors is crypto data websites are not setup well for explaining how much $VIRTUAL is locked and the effect on supply. Suggest @virtuals_io press harder in public on how locking $VIRTUAL into LPs helps with value accrual. Take a lesson from how @AerodromeFi explains locking $AERO for four years.

$VIRTUAL is underperforming the best coins in the crypto x ai sector and the reason why is clear. The underperformance is because there's no burn mechanism for $VIRTUAL. Liquid funds and non-retail allocators (the only people remaining in this market) expect a token burn. Here's what they see: $FET - fees into burn mechanism $GRASS - revenue into buyback and burn $NEAR - gas fees into burn mechanism $RENDER - burn tokens for compute jobs $VVV - revenue into buybacks and burn $VIRTUAL - no buybacks and no burn of $VIRTUAL Competing AI tokens offer a token burn, $VIRTUAL does not. As a result, @virtuals_io pitches a complex value accrual story based on (1) the token as as an "agentic currency" (medium of exchange), (2) locking the token into LPs, and (3) buybacks and burn of agent tokens, not $VIRTUAL, indirectly increasing the price of $VIRTUAL which is paired in liquidity pools with agent tokens. This value accrual story is too complex. Show a $VIRTUAL burn or allocators are out. $VIRTUAL will continue to underperform over the long-term until it implements a systematic burn mechanism of $VIRTUAL, except in the low probability event of retail flooding back to crypto.

You’re given $10,000 to invest in one of these stocks, under the terms that you invest it today, then have to wait 10 years to check back in. Which one are you choosing? $CSU.TO $CSU $BN $FICO $MELI

Retiring at 40 is liberating. It can also be a little boring sometimes. Then I remember most people have to go to work today… and suddenly the boredom feels pretty good. 🌹

On bloody market days, worth to reflect. Collect those battle scars and be proud of them. 5th winter. And to greater things ahead
EtherMage@ethermage

being early was never the flex. being resilient after being early - that’s what defines us. For those who are just discovering @virtuals_io , here’s a quick rewind: > published a paper on using VLMs to replace game-engine physics the same week as DeepMind, q2 2024 > built the first autonomous agent NPC map on Roblox, q3 2024 > created the first autonomous agent that could spend using a crypto wallet, q4 2024 > launched the first agent token launchpad, q4 2024 > executed the first autonomous commerce transaction between two agents, q1 2025 > published an agent-to-agent coordination standard — two months before Google, q1 2025 > built and launched acp live with agentic teams months before any agentic commerce hype, q2 2025 Since then, we’ve seen teams rise as fast followers. but most crack after a winter. We don’t. we have seen 4 winters and counting, And compounding the months ahead looks really exciting tbh. To many more early’s and firsts > First to reach $100M in aGDP > First 🤖 [redacted] > 🕙🦄
