Many have asked how one should value Virtuals, and the one metric that we aim to maximize. - an agents-as-a-service company that should be valued like a software business, where cash flow is king? - a meme project disguised as a fundamental tech company, aiming to maximize attention? - an infrastructure protocol with TVL as the top priority? kinda right but we are building A primitive for agents' co-ownership that seeks to achieve decentralization via capitalism Capitalism is human nature. Convincing someone to stop pursuing profits is a fool's errand. We aim to bring incentive alignment from closed companies to public, permissionless agents. We want as many people as possible to co-own agents. Only when the masses have skin in the game financially will they think about doing the right thing. That’s our north star metric.

Just tried this last week. Truly impressive. Close to 70% revamp work was nicely done by Sonnet 4.6 model, with one right prompt. Excluding the multiple times I had to tell her that she can revamp everything and remind (scold) her to fix the font and colour. 🤣 Works with integrating remaining codebase by referring to existing code. I can be a junior frontend engineer now. Anyone hiring?

Excited for our first experiment in the agent space! Much more to come. When onchain agents first took the spotlight in 2024, many of us were incredibly excited about what could be possible, but most shrugged it off as a fad. Indeed, agents weren’t advanced enough to execute complicated tasks that could genuinely provide value to end users. Now, this revolution is impossible to ignore. We firmly believe that onchain agents will become a core part of the Trillion Dollar Agentic Economy, and that tokenizing them at the earliest stages will provide huge benefits for their creators and earliest believers. Namely, tokens represent a distribution layer for agents, for humans and other agents alike. They can also fund themselves incredibly quickly and efficiently using creator fees and other onchain mechanisms. Today’s update is a v0; it’s there to serve as a bedrock for future updates in this space. So we’re super happy to hear feedback and ideas for what we should build next that can provide value to a) agent developers and b) end users.
